Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall here, that shall he speak and he will shew you things to come
(KJV - John 16:13)
The Birth of Spirit of Truth Christian Center
Located in the heart of Wilson, North Carolina, Spirit Of Truth Christian Center opened it’s doors on Sunday April 7 th at 11:00am, in 2013. Our goal from that date until now, has been to “reach the lost, teach the untaught, make disciples for Christ, and provide healing for those who have been “crushed in their spirit.”We are a church that is dedicated to providing uplifting services to singles, married couples, and single-parent families. We seek to minister to the “whole need of man” spirit, soul, and body.
In January 2017 we formed a non-profit organization entitled: “Total Transformation Community Services,” in order to impact our community by providing mentoring and life skills to young men and women. Also, through this organization, we have been able to provide summer feeding programs for school aged kids, provide turkey giveaways during Thanksgiving, host job fairs, and feed the local nursing home’s staffs, when they were quarantined during the pandemic.
At Spirit of Truth Christian Center, we seek to reach out with compassion, and show the love of Jesus Christ with every opportunity that is afforded to us. And our mission, is to help those who are suffering, protect the vulnerable, proclaim hope in a despairing world, and bring people together across racial, denominational, and economic barriers with the help of Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalms 82:3-4 (NET) says:
“Defend the cause of the poor and the fatherless.”
“Vindicate the oppressed and suffering.”
“ Rescue the poor and needy.”
“Deliver them from the power of the wicked.”
At Spirit of Truth Christian Center we strive to be a church that glorifies God by developing Christians who are passionately committed to both the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37, 39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20).
“Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” “This is the first and great
commandment.” “And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” “
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
Matthew 22:37-40 (King James)
